Industry Veteran Joins iTi Tropicals
Lawrenceville, NJ – January 26, 2012
iTi Tropicals, Inc. is pleased to announce that the company has acquired certain assets from Marcel Aubry & Co. related to its food and flavor business. In connection with this transaction, Phil Aubry has joined iTi as Vice President, Product Management. Phil will lead sourcing, sales and product strategy responsibilities for certain iTi products, bringing additional expertise to a critical role in the company.
“Phil brings to iTi a wealth of experience in tropical fruits, flavors, and trading, from his 30 years with Marcel Aubry & Co.” says Gert van Manen, President of iTi Tropicals, “We are delighted to have him on board”.
van Manen sees the continued growth of demand for tropical fruit products. The addition of Mr. Aubry to iTi is expected to help accelerate the company’s growth in the dynamic tropicals market. This continues the nearly quarter-century history of iTi’s broad customer base continuing to expand the natural, healthy food and beverage options they offer the North American consumer.
